A. ADDrove the minutes from the February 25. 2025. Southlake Arts Council
meeting - Please make any corrections to the minutes part of the motion
for consideration.
3. Agenda Item No. 3. Public Forum
This is the public's opportunity to address the Arts Council about non -agenda
items. During this proceeding, the Arts Council will not discuss or act on any item
presented. Southlake Arts Council respectfully asks anyone speaking during the
Public Forum to limit remarks to three minutes or less.
4. Agenda Item No. 4. Discussion
A. DPS West Installation and Dedication Ceremony- The purpose of this item
is to discuss the DPS West Installation and Dedication Ceremony before
installation takes place in April. No packet document.
B. Southlake Presents Art Jury and Selection- The purpose of this item is for
the Southlake Arts Council to jury and select the artists who will be
featured in the Southlake Presents exhibit. No packet document.

Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan called the meeting to order at 6:00
P.M.

ARTS COUNCIL MEETING
Chair Tamara McMillan presented item 2A, approval of the minutes from
the January 28, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the January 28, 2025,
Southlake Arts Council meeting as presented.

Chair McMillan opened the Public Forum at 6:02 P.M.
There being no one to speak, the Public Forum was closed at 6:02 P.M.
4. CONSIDER
4A. APPROVE THE PUBLIC ART DISPLAY PERMIT FOR THE SOUTHLAKE
HISTORICAL SOCIETY SUMMER EXHIBIT.
Business Manager Milenka Lopez presented item 4A and was available to
answer questions. Connie Cooley was present to answer questions about
the exhibit and presented a brief history of the City of Southlake.
APPROVED
A motion was made to recommend approval the Public Art Display Permit
for the Southlake Historical Society Summer Exhibit.

5. DISCUSSION
5A. DPS WEST INSTALLATION AND DEDICATION CEREMONY
Business Manager Milenka Lopez presented an update on the DPS West Art
project and was available to answer questions.
Direction to Staff: Install the first week of April if the artist and City Council are
available.
5B. STROKES OF ART IN THE SQUARE RECAP
Business Manager Milenka Lopez presented a recap on the Strokes of Art in the
Square and was available to answer questions.
