A. Approval of the minutes from the March 28, 2023, Southlake Arts Council

A. City Ethics Program Presentation, Assistant to the Director Milenka Lopez- This
item allows for a presentation on the City's ethics program. No packet document.
B. Aria Sound System Update- This item allows for an update on the improvements
of the sound system in place at Aria Amphitheater. No packet document.
C. Liberty Gardens Installation- This item allows for an update on the installation of
the art at the Liberty Gardens in Bicentennial Park. No packet document.
D. Fall Exhibit- This item allows for a discussion on the Fall Exhibit. No packet

1. CALL TO ORDER
Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan called the meeting to order at
6:01 p.m.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
Chair McMillan opened the Public Forum at 6:01 p.m. There being no one present
to address the Arts Council, the Public Forum was closed at 6:01 p.m.
3. CONSENT AGENDA
3A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE FEBRUARY 28, 2023, SOUTHLAKE
ARTS COUNCIL MEETING
Chair McMillan presented item 3A, approval of the minutes from the
February 28, 2023, Southlake Arts Council meeting. Chair McMillan
asked if there were any revisions to the minutes. No revisions were
discussed.

4. DISCUSSION
4A. LIBERTY GARDEN ART INSTALLATION DISCUSSION
Community Relations Manager, Vicky Schiber presented item 4A to the Arts
Council for discussion and was available to answer questions.

4B. ARIA SOUND SYSTEM UPDATE
Community Relations Manager, Vicky Schiber presented item 413 to the Arts
Council for updates and discussion and was available to answer questions.

4C. FALL EXHIBIT DISCUSSION
Chair McMillan presented item 4C to the Arts Council for discussion and was
available to answer questions.
Direction to Staff: None
4D. SOUTHLAKE PRESENTS ART BLIND JURY
Chair McMillan presented item 4D to the Arts Council for review and discussion
and was available to answer questions. The Arts Council reviewed applications for
the 2023 Southlake Presents Art Show and competition and selected finalists.
Direction to Staff: Reach out to selected artists.
