MAYORS REPORT Mayor Latta announced that the public works department one ton truck has arrived and will be in service shortly. Latta announced that Unit 3003 was sold and the bid was $7,500. City Attorney, Bill Smith is to alter the lease agreement to reflect new amount and the $7,500 will be applied to the down payment. When off-site drainage was discussed, it was established that Southlake needs a policy on off-site drainage. COUNCILPERSON z z PAGE: 2 INDEX The Dove Estates sewer treatment plant agreement was discussed. Council members are to study the agreement before it is executed by the city and the developer. When the agreement is finalized, then the city will sign the Corp of Engineers easement. ZA 84-54. The replat of Lots 17A-1 ZA 84-54 and 17A-2 of Cedar Oaks Addition was approved as presented. ZA 84-53. The zoning request for ZA 84-53 a 14.25 acre tract of land currently agricultural, request is for the light industrial zoning district was discussed. The zoning request for a ZA 84-58 27.0 acre tract of land out of the W.R. Eaves Survey, Abstract 581 was discussed. John Drew of the John Drew Company was present and made a presentation. Eubanks x Motion was made to approve the zoning to heavy commercial. It was approved. A discussion was held in regards to Ordinance No. 306, prohibition of excavation and loud noises on certain days and times. Council was instructed to review the proposed ordinance and vote at the following meeting. Bradley x x The bills presented were approved -Combs x x for payment.
