INVOCATION: Bruce McCombs The minutes of the January 17, city council meeting were approved as presented. A closed meeting was held at 6:30 p.m. for the discussion of a contrac . MAYORS REPORT: Eli Milton, of 1640 South Brumlow Avenue addressed Council in an effort to get some relief concerning a business establishment across the street from him who is open very early in the morning thus disturbing his family. He gave information to council members concerning business curfew ordinances in other cities. He also ask council help in acquiring a traffic light at the intersection of Brumlow Avenue and Highway 26. Mayor Sparger assured her that the developer, Wayne Lee, will be rebuild- ing the roads within the subdivision as he had agreed to do. Work is to begin in the near future. Councilman Westerholm informed Council of a meeting he attended with Chief R.P. Steele, concerning a county wide ambulance service. Mayor Sparger reminded council.and the audience of the good service we get from the City of Grapevine. Sparger announced a meeting which will be held between the City of Southlake and Trinity River Authority. It will be held on February 14,1984. Agenda item #2 was deleted from this meeting. The water contract between the City o WATER Fort Worth and the City of Southlake CONTRACT concerning the purchase of surface WITH CITY water to Southlake was discussed on OF FORT this date in a closed meeting. WORTH Lee Bradley from City of Fort Worth was present and answered questions for the council. During the open session, Mayor Sparger informed the audience of the highlights of the contract. John Levitt, engineer for PLAT Cross Timber Hills Company was present APPROVED and answered questions for council. He stated that they had no problem tying the water main into that of Randol Mill Estates, however, they did not want to tie the street from Randol Mill Estates into the subdivision, as it would cause them to loose Lot 40.
