The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for a Special Exception Use, per Zoning Ord. No. 480, Section 44.12(6), as amended, for a reduction in the required setback from property lines for a residential accessory building on property described as Lot 2R, Block C, Lakewood Ridge Addition and located at 4383 Soda Ridge Rd, Southlake, Denton County, Texas. Current Zoning: “SF-1A” Single Family Residential District The request is to seek approval to reduce the required 40-foot rear yard setback to 10 feet for a 1,080 square foot barn with a covered porch.
