Comments, Questions, and Concerns: Q: Is there a projection on the increase of patient traffic this helipad may bring? A: Continue operations as it is today — surgical center itself has not grown, except to expansion we did 2 years ago — so there's no other plans to expand. Q: Is there anything that's considered right -of -use? Nothing to prevent the hospital from increasing its numbers to receive more trauma patients once the helipad is there? A: It's all about the land — and whether that changes in the future is unknown at this point. C: When I go by the hospital it seems underutilized right now, so I would consider some capacity available there right now. My concern is the hospital justifying using more capacity once the helipad is placed. A- The intent of the hospital right now — what it's licensed for — is not about bringing more patients in, this is only an evac situation. If we were to grow and bring in larger buildings, we would need to come back through this process for approval.
