In Attendance: Councilmember Ronell Smith (Southlake), Vice Chair Devika Seth (Southlake), Councilmember Leon
Leal (Grapevine), Chair Marjorie Lewis (Grapevine), Kevin Sellers (Grapevine), Councilmember Tag Green (Keller),
Jennifer Larson (Keller), Rebecca Tovar (Keller), Councilmember Tim Raine (Colleyville), and Susan Baum
(Colleyville).
Absent: Kara Carreras (Southlake), Sayeda Sayed (Colleyville)
REGULAR SESSION:
1. Call to order at 5:46 by Chair Marjorie Lewis.
REPORTS:
2. Administrative Comments (Staff):
Teen Court staff gave a presentation regarding referral information.
CONSENT AGENDA:
3. Approval of Minutes from January 13, 2024 Meeting.
Motion to approve made by Tag Green and seconded by Susan Baum. Unanimous approval by board.
REGULAR AGENDA:
4. Interviews: Scholarship Candidates
Madeline Shepherd, Oscar Weber, Riddhima Shanker, and Kaitlyn Wang were intervewed for the scholarship
monies.
5. Discussion: Scholarhsip Candidates and Interview Results
The board discussed the candidate interviews.
Action: Approve Scholarship Recipients
Motion was made by Susan Baum and seconded by Jennifer Larson to approve scholarhsips in the amount of
$1000 for Madeline Shepherd, $800 for Riddhima Shanker, and $600 each to Oscar Weber and Kaitlyn Wang.
Majority approval by board, Tim Raine abstained. (Leal not present).
7. Dates to Remember
The Volunteer/Scholarship Reception will be held on April 7, 2025. The board will present the scholarship
aw ards that evening.
8. Public Forum: There was no public present at this time.
9. Meeting adjourned at 7:34pm
Motion to adjourn was made by Rebecca Tovar and seconded by Tag Green.
