Preparing the golf course is
a time-consuming fluid
operation covering over 150
acres.
Mowing equipment is
consistently moving away
from adjacent properties
minimizing the sound effect.
Full course mowing only
occurs on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays.
Saturday and Sunday — only
the greens are mowed, each
one taking approximately 15
minutes.
Only 4 holes are mowed
during the first hour of the
day

Continuing the 25-year standard
of beginning course
maintenance at 6:00 a.m. allows
employees to work and
Members to play during the
coolest part of the day,
diminishing sun exposure and
potentially dangerous heat
related incidents.
Course maintenance jobs do not
provide a 40-hour work week as
mowing the entire course takes
approximately 5 hours. Most of
these employees work 2nd jobs
and need to continue to do so it
order to provide for their
families. Beginning work later
than 6:00 a.m. puts some of our
employee's 2nd jobs in jeopardy.
