Item 6A - City’s Evaluation of the Line of Sight for 500 Reserve Streetat Division Street IntersectionCity's Evaluation of the Line of Sight for 500 Reserve Street/Division Street Intersection From: Grant, Tom <Tom.Grant@kimley-horn.com> Sent: Monday, July 25, 2022 11:27 AM To: Sandra Endy <SEndv@ci.southlake.tx.us> Cc: Dennis Killough <dkillough@ci.southlake.tx.us>; Patty Moos <pmoos@ci.southlake.tx.us> Subject: RE: City of Southlake traffic review Hi Sandra, We did a review of the City Council Hearing packet and the sight distance exhibit. We have no concerns with the sight visibility at this location since this intersection is all -way stop controlled. The patio is not shown to obscure the sight distance to the first car at the stop line from each approach. It is a small intersection without turn lanes or on -street parking within the limits of the sight triangle for an all -way stop controlled intersection. I saw a reference to the Moxie's patio, which is a different situation (that one is a skewed intersection and the stop bar is set back much farther from the corner). Please let me know if you need our response in a brief memorandum. Best, Tom Tom Grant, P.E. (Tx, OK), PTOE I Vice President Kimley-Horn 12201 W.
