SIGN VARIANCE APPLICATION
Demonstration
Please demonstrate that the following conditions are applicable to the requested sign variance:
That a literal enforcement of the sign regulation will create an unnecessary hardship or practical
difficulty on the applicant.
The change is strictly for the quantity of signage. The current master sign plan does not allow a sign
located on the rear elevation at this property. We are proposing an additional wall sign o nthe rear
elevation, this request should not affect any public development.
2. That the situation causing the unnecessary hardship or practical difficulty is unique to the affected
property and is not self imposed.
The proposed implements the standard provisions of the city's ordinance. The intent of the proposed
sign is to clearly identify the facility as a continuous operation for the public in all directions.
That the variance will not injure and will be wholly compatible with the use and permitted
development of adjacent properties.
The sign lettering and sizes are proportional to the building. Perspire branding imaging is designed to
promote a proportional image that should be compatible with the adjacent properties.
4. That the variance will be in harmony with the spirit and purpose of the sign ordinance.
Perspire branding and signage has been designed to be consistent with high image including with the
city of Southlake.
