basketball goal within the drainage easement being located at
104 Legacy Court.
Action
Requested: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for a basketball
goal within the drainage easement being located at 104 Legacy
Court.
Background
Information: The purpose of this item is to seek City Council approval of an
Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the installation of a
basketball goal within the drainage easement at 104 Legacy Court.
The property owner of 104 Legacy Court is requesting to construct a
basketball goal within the drainage easement located along the west
property line.
This agreement will allow the developer to place a basketball goal
within the easement along the west side of the property. There are
no City utilities or infrastructures within this easement. The drainage
easement was dedicated to allow for cross lot drainage and the
proposed basketball goal will not impede the drainage flow from the
neighboring property to the north. Per the drainage memo prepared
by Redinger Group, LLC, the encroachment will not impede drainage
flow.
Financial
Considerations: This is a no cost agreement.
