Call to order Council Summer Workshop.
2. A. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.076,
551.087, 418.183(f), and 418.106(d) & (e). Refer to posted list attached hereto
and incorporated herein. Executive Session may be held, under these
exceptions, at the end of the Regular Session or at any time during the
meeting that a need arises for the City Council to seek advice from the city
attorney as to the posted subject matter of this City Council meeting.
1. Section 551.071: Consultation with city attorney.
a. Seek advice of the city attorney regarding the adoption of the capital
budget and 5-year Capital Improvement Projects.
2. Section 551.072: Deliberation regarding real property.
a. Discuss the acquisition of real property for public purposes.

Mayor John Huffman called the workshop to order at 5:04 p.m.
2A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Huffman announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant
to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.071
consultation with city attorney and Section 551.072 deliberation regarding real property.
City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 5:12 p.m.
2B. RECONVENE
Mayor Huffman reconvened the meeting at 6:23 p.m.
3. DISCUSSION: INFRASTRUCTURE

Director of Public Works Rob Cohen provided an overview of the Water and
Wastewater System Infrastructure. The presentation included an overview of the
system, health of the system, and planning for the future.
3B. STORMWATER
Deputy Director of Public Works Administration Lauren LaNeave provided an overview
of the Stormwater Management Program. The presentation included the program
overview, common concerns, regulatory constraints, and planning for the future.
3C. PARKS & RECREATION
Director of Community Services Chris Tribble provided an overview of the Parks &
Recreation Infrastructure. The presentation included an update to the Master Plan
implementation, status of projects, and the next steps.
3D. TECHNOLOGY
Chief Financial Officer Sharen Jackson provided an overview of the Technology Master
Plan. The presentation included an update on the goals of the plan, strategic alignment,
desired outcomes, and schedule.
4. DISCUSSION: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
4A. FINANCIAL MODELING
Chief Financial Officer Sharen Jackson provided an overview of Financial Management
including the infrastructure of the financial plan.
4B. MULTI-YEAR FUNDING
Chief Financial Officer Sharen Jackson provided an overview of Financial Management
including the sustainability of the Financial Masterplan update.
5. DISCUSSION: FOCUS AREAS
The purpose of this section was to provide time for Council to discuss key policy issues
in each of the focus area categories. There were no further questions or discussion from
Council relative to items 4A-4F.
