Arts Council Action
Arts Council Action:
October 22, 2024; Approved (6-0) the Commercial Wall Mural for Flower Child
with the following recommendations: no mural on the South Elevation and
include only the lit sign as required by Kite. On the west elevation right panel,
reduce the mural to be less busy and not have so many details. This can include
reducing the scale of both panels to balance out the overall mural.

November 7, 2024; Approved (5-0) recommending approval subject to the Staff
Report dated November 1, 2024, and with respect to the variance on the wall
sign (sign A), recommending approval on the sign width, recommending denial of
the request for variance on the letter depth (for sign A), following the Arts Council
recommendations on the wall mural signs specifically noting no wall mural on the
south elevation, and on the west elevation, approving the middle mural and
recommending denial of the mural on the far right of the west elevation.
