The Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) Board of Directors serves a two–year term, beginning in January of even-numbered years. The Board is elected by the taxing entities located within Tarrant County. Each taxing entity is allotted a number of votes, which is based on the City’s percentage of the total tax levy for Tarrant County. The five nominees who get the highest number of votes are elected to the Board of Directors. On October 1, 2024, the City Council nominated Mr. Mike Alfred and Mr. Gary Losada via Resolution No. 24-035, attached.
