Allison Bedwell presented item 2A for SYAC consideration and
Business Manager Milenka Lopez was available to answer questions.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the Southlake Youth
Action Commission meeting held on October 14, 2024.

Street contract for Shady Oaks Dr.

4. Discussion
A. Preparing to host elections with the City Secretary's Office -
Allison Bedwell presented item 4A and introduced the City Secretary
for a discussion on how the City Secretary's Office prepares to host
municipal elections. City Secretary Amy Shelley discussed municipal
elections and how they affect the residents of Southlake. Mayor Shawn
McCaskill and City Council Member Frances Scharli discussed their
experiences in running for elected positions within the City of
Southlake and were available to answer questions.
