Members Present: Vice Chair Greta Schumacher, and SAC members Brent Mcllvain, William
Meddings, Julie Walter, and Bernadette MacDermott
Commission Members Absent: Chair Maryl-ee Alford
Staff Members Present: Hospitality and Sales Manager of Legends Hall at The Marq
Southlake Crystal Maddalena, Senior Services Coordinator Soheila Mashat-Phelps
1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Schumacher called the meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission to order at
1:00 P.M.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
Vice Chair Schumacher opened the Public Forum at 1:00 P.M. There being no one to
address the Commission, Public Forum was closed at 1:00 P.M.
3. DISCUSSION: (No Vote on Discussion Items)
A. Metroport Meals on Wheels Report - Mary King, Executive Director
Executive Director Mary King gave the report and was available to answer questions.
B. CARS Report - Ernie Meyer, Chairman of the Board
Chairman of the Board Ernie Meyer gave the report and was available to answer
questions.
4. CONSENT
Consent Agenda items are considered routine by the Commission and are enacted with
one motion.
A. Approve the minutes from the October 08, 2024, Senior Advisory Commission Meeting
Vice Chair Schumacher presented the Consent Agenda, including approval of
the minutes from the October 08, 2024, meeting. Vice Chair Schumacher
asked if there were any revisions to the minutes. No revisions.
