Requested: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for a wood
fence within the drainage easement being located at 805 Victoria
Lane.
Background
Information: The purpose of this item is to seek City Council approval of an
Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the installation of a
wood fence within the drainage easement at 805 Victoria Lane.
The Developer of 805 Victoria Lane is requesting to construct a wood
fence within a drainage easement located approximately 60-feet
north of the southern property line. The easement runs from east to
west. There is a 24-inch RCP storm pipe within this easement.
This agreement will allow the developer to place fencing across the
drainage easement. The drainage easement was dedicated to allow
for cross lot drainage through this property from east to west. The
proposed fencing will not impede the drainage flow and will not affect
the public infrastructure.
Staff is requesting City Council to consider the proposed drainage
easement encroachment for the proposed improvements to the
development at 805 Victoria Lane.
Financial
Considerations: This is a no cost agreement.
