Mayor McCaskill led the pledges of allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags. 3. HONORS & RECOGNITION: PROCLAMATION FOR NATIONAL COMMUNITY PLANNING MONTH City Manager Alison Ortowski introduced Planning and Development Services Principal Planner Wayne Powell who highlighted National Community Planning Month. 4. FY 2025 LEAD AND COPPER RULE REVISION UPDATE City Manager Alison Ortowski introduced Public Works Environmental and Regulatory Supervisor Madisson Dunn who provided an update on the upcoming changes associated with the Lead and Copper Rule Revision for FY 2025. 5. REGULAR SESSION: Immediately following the work session 1. CALL TO ORDER Regular Session was called to order by Mayor McCaskill at 5:56pm. 2A. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor McCaskill announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 consultation with city attorney; and Section 551.087 deliberation regarding economic development negotiations. The City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 5:56pm. Executive Session began at 6:03pm and concluded at 6:35pm. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor McCaskill expressed his appreciation the Southlake Chamber of Commerce for the Oktoberfest event; spoke about National Disability Employment Month; and thanked Keller Mayor Mizani for providing the Council's meal from 1956 Pizza. 3113. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT 31131. LEAF RECYCLING COLLECTION City Manager Alison Ortowski introduced Deputy Director of Public Works Lauren LaNeave who provided an update on the leaf recycling collection. 31132. SOUTHLAKE SERVES UPDATE City Manager Alison Ortowski introduced Operations Manager — Customer Relations Melody Andersen who provided an update on Southlake Serves.
