Mr. Clayton Reed provided the invocation. Mayor McCaskill led the pledges of allegiance
to the United States and Texas Flags.
3. HONOR THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE AS FIT CITY 2024 CHAMPIONS
Community Relations Manager of Community Services Vicky Schiber recognized the Fit
City Challenge and honored its High Performers.; The Mayor and Council took a photo
with the Top 100 and Top 3 present.
4. SOUTHLAKE TARGET INDUSTRY RECRUITMENT TASK FORCE UPDATE
Director of Economic Development and Tourism i Daniel Cortez provided an update on the
Target Industry Recruitment Task Force.

- Approving the zoning change and development plan for Brumlow East, requesting
to change zoning from "AG" agricultural district to "TZD" transition zoning district,
as presented.
- Requiring that the applicant work with the city staff and City Attorney to craft a note
to be placed on future plats for the residential portion of the development
acknowledging the adjacency of intensive non-residential industrial type uses and
operations including the future Municipal Service Center and Public Safety
Training Tower facility.

less installation than is represented tonight, in the greenspace, if it is determined
by the landscape administrator that it's In the best interest of the long-term
maturation and development of this property.
- The applicant has agreed to either sod and/or seed the green space.

Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney. The City Council may conduct a private

regarding pipeline safety. The City Council may discuss emergency management plans
