Mr. Clayton Reed provided the invocation. Mayor Huffman led the pledges of allegiance
to the United States and Texas Flags.
3. HONORS & RECOGNITION: PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING WATER
SAFETY MONTH
The Founder and Executive Director of The Swim4Elise Foundation, Lori Cerami, spoke
about Water Safety Month, announced the Run4Elise event scheduled for Saturday, May
11 th, and accepted the proclamation.

Judge Carol Montgomery administered the Oath of Office to Council Place 2, Randy
Robbins; Council Place 3, Frances Scharli and Mayor, Shawn McCaskill. Upon taking
their seats at the dais, each expressed their appreciation to their family, friends, and
residents for their support.

consultation with city attorney. City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 6:13pm.
Executive Session began at 6:15pm and concluded at 8:12pm.
