The house contains a unique exterior 29 of petrified wood, sand stone, and a couple of fossils. Given that the house 30 itself has little historical value, coupled with the initial cost of moving the 31 house ($20,000), future cost to move to a permanent location, and 32 expenses for construction of a slab, renovation, and utilities, the City and 33 Southlake Historical Society recommend pursuing only the removal and 34 acquisition of the exterior stone and petrified wood at a cost of $5,000. 35 The stone and wood may be utilized and recognized in conjunction with a 36 future park development project. 37 38 B.
