Sridevi Vermulaoalli - Alternate 3 and Al Karmali- Alternate 4. Members Absent: Board members: Clinton Snead- Place 1 Staff Present: Jennifer Crosby, Deputy Director of Planning and Alma Slicker, Board Secretary. REGULAR SESSION: 1. Call to Order: Chairman Medici called the Regular Session to order at 6:32 P.M. 2. Executive Session: No executive session was held. 3. Approval of the Minutes: Chairman Medici opened the discussion of the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting for March 28, 2024. A motion was made to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for meetings March 28, 2024. Motion: Verbick Second: Treichler Ayes: Verbick, King, Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 5-0-0 Motion: Approved Gatz, Treichler, Medici 4. Administrative Comments: Jennifer Crosby, Deputy Director of Planning, announced that the May 16'h meeting is canceled. May 30th meeting still open for applications. 5. Consider: ZBA24-0005, Special Exception Use, per Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section 44.12(1) for a Domestic Employee or Family Quarters, on property described as Lot 7, Block 2, Cimmarron Acres, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at 3200 Jordan Drive, Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting Minutes — April 25, 2024 Page 1 of 2 6. Deputy Director of Planning Jennifer Crosby presented details of the case with a slide show presentation to the Board. The applicant, Llyod and Wendi Charles, are requesting a Special Exception Use. The purpose of this request is to seek approval for an SEU for a Domestic Employee or Family Quarters situated at the rear of the subject property. The interior floor area will encompass approximately 360 square feet. The structure will have an open patio area of approximately 3' in depth that will face south toward the primary structure. The total under -roof area is approximately 495 square feet. The applicant, Wendi Charles, once sworn in, presented testimony, and answered questions from the Board. Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in support of the request. There being none, Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in opposition to the request. There being none, Chairman Medici closed the public hearing and opened the item for discussion from the Board. A motion was made to approve case ZBA24-0005, With a Condition of not to exceed 500 Sq ft. Motion: Karmali Second: Vemulapalli Ayes: Verbick, King, Gatz, Treichler, Medici Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 5-0-0 Motion: Approved 7.
