Ordinance 662-G Drought Contingency Plan •Texas Administrative Code Title 30, Chapter 288 •Wholesale Water Contract Section 2.5 •5-year cycle update Previous update in April 2019 Due May 1st, 2024 Ordinance 662-G 2024 Plan •Continuation of 2019 plan •Same triggers for each 3 stages, defined by: Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) City of Fort Worth City of Southlake •Permanent year-round twice per week landscape irrigation schedule Proposed in Water Conservation Plan Ordinance 662-G Drought Stage Trigger Action Stage 1 SOUTHLAKE Water level in the 3 low plane elevated tanks falls below 18 ft. for 3 consecutive days Step up enforcement of twice per week landscape irrigation schedule. Stage 2 SOUTHLAKE (with Stage 1 in effect for two weeks) Water level in the 3 low plane elevated tanks falls below 18 ft. for 3 consecutive days, OR Water level in the single high plane elevated tank falls below 18 ft. for 3 consecutive days Landscape irrigation reduced to once per week. Stage 3 SOUTHLAKE (with Stage 2 in effect for two weeks) Water level in the 3 low plane elevated tanks falls below 18 ft. for 3 consecutive days, OR Water level in the single high plane elevated tank falls below 18 ft. for 3 consecutive days Prohibit operation of sprinklers and landscape irrigation systems.
