Agenda Item No. 3 Report: CARS (Josh Weiser)
CARS representative Josh Weiser presented the monthly CARS statistical report for
January 2005 and a summary of the past year. The report showed a significant increase in
the users and the one-way trips, yet a decrease in mileage. The reduction is accounted for
in that many of those trips were made to the Senior Center, which is in close proximity to
rider's homes in Southlake. CARS had a very good year during 2004 - 1,808 rides. A
postcard comment survey has been distributed to riders to gauge satisfaction levels of the
CARS program. Mr. Weiser will share the results of that survey at a future meeting.
