In Attendance: Councilmember Ronell Smith (Southlake), Kara Carreras (Southlake}, Vice Chair Devika Seth
(Southlake), Councilmember Leon Leal (Grapevine), Chair Marjorie Lewis (Grapevine), Sergio Harris (Grapevine),
Councilmember Jessica Juarez (Keller), Katie Gillham (Keller), Rebecca Tovar (Keller), Sayeda Sayed (Colleyville),
and Susan Baum (Colleyville).
Absent: Councilmember George Bond (Colleyville).
REGULAR SESSION:
1. Call to order at 5:46 by Marjorie Lewis.
REPORTS:
2.Administrative Comments (Staff):
Teen Court staff gave a presentation regarding referral information.
CONSENT AGENDA:
3.Approval of Minutes from January 8, 2024 Meeting.
Motion to approve made by Kara Carreras and seconded by Susan Baum. Unanimous approval by board.
REGULAR AGENDA:
4.Interviews: Scholarship Candidates
Camila Vivanco and Emery Swank were intervewed for the scholarship monies.
5.Discussion: Schoiarhsip Candidates and Interview Results
The board discussed the candidate interv iews.
6.Action: Approve Scholarship Recipients
Motion was made by Susan Baum and seconded by Devika Seth to approve scholarhsips in the amount of
$1500 for Camila Vivanco and $1500 for Emery Swank. Unanimous approval by board (Leal not present).
7.Dates to Remember
The Volunteer/Scholarship Reception will be held on April 8, 2024. The board will present the scholarship
awards that evening.
8.Public Forum: There was no public present at this time.
9.Meeting adjourned at 7:01 pm
Motion to adjourn was made by Sayeda Syed and seconded by Jessica Juarez.
