Action
Requested: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for a wood and
iron fence within the drainage easement being located at 1704 and
1708 Kingsley Ct.
Background
Information: The Developer of 1704 and 1708 Kingsley Ct. is requesting to
construct an 8' wood fence within a drainage easement located along
the rear of the property as well as a 6' iron fence along the side of
the property. There are no City utilities within this easement.
The purpose of this item is to seek City Council approval of an
Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the installation of an 8'
wood fence and a 6' iron fence within the drainage easement at 1704
and 1708 Kingsley Ct. This agreement will allow the developer to
place the fencing along the east and west sides of the property. The
drainage easement was dedicated to allow for cross lot drainage.
Per the drainage memos prepared by Hamilton Duffy and Redinger
Group, the proposed fencing will not impede the drainage flow.
Staff is requesting City Council to consider the proposed drainage
easement encroachment for the proposed improvements to the
development at 1704 and 1708 Kingsley Ct.
Financial
Considerations: This is a no cost agreement.
