Four (4) lane divided highway with expansion capabilities to 6-lanes.
Phase I is SH 114 to Dove Street. Phase II is Dove St. to FM 1709.

Agency Roles
TXDOT-will fund and construct the project.
Tarrant County-will obtain necessary right-of-way for the project.
City of Southlake-Function as a liaison between the citizens and TXDOT and provide enhancement funds for the project.

PAST ACTIONS
November, 2000 - Consultants begin work on three (3) alternative roadway alignments.
July, 2001 - Public information meeting to review alignment proposals.
December, 2001 - TxDOT minute order approved priority II status and FM designation.
February 2002 –Began geometric design.
July 2002 – RTC approved funding for Phase I – $7.6M.
May 2004 – Plan geometrics submitted to TXDOT for approval.
June 2004 – Environmental assessment submitted to TXDOT for approval.

Phase I: Row acquisition complete with exception of transition portions to Phase II.
Phase I: construction beginning in 2005, completion 2007.
Phase II: ROW acquisition 2003-2006.
Phase II: utility relocations 2006-2007.
