PROPERTY SITUATION: The property is located at 100 N. Kimball Ave., Ste. 101
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 2, Block 1, Farrar Addition
LAND USE CATEGORY: Retail Commercial
CURRENT ZONING: “C-3” General Commercial
STAFF COMMENTS: Due to the limited scope of this request and that no changes are
proposed to the approved site plan, no plan review summary is
provided. A copy of the approved site plan showing the specific
location of this request is included as Attachment ‘C’ of this report.
A church is located at the southwest corner of S. Kimball and E.
Southlake Boulevard. The City regulations regarding placement of
businesses selling alcoholic beverages requires no business selling
alcoholic beverages be within 300 feet of a church. The
measurement shall be along the property lines of the street fronts and
from front door to front door, and in direct line across intersections.
The resulting measurement between the church and this business is in
excess of 600 feet.
