Dear Property Owner:
A request for a Variance has been filed with the Board of Adjustment of the City of
Southlake.
The purpose of this request is to seek a, Variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as
amended, Section 14.5(c), requiring a side yard of 15 (fifteen) feet, on property
described as Lot 34, Block 4, South Ridge Lakes Addition, an addition to the City of
Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and located at 1305 Houston Court, Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas.
The request is for a reduction of a side yard setback from 15’ to approximately 10’. This
variance request only pertains to a proposed addition on the west side of the home.
Additions to the south and southeast side of the home are permitted.
If you wish to register your views on the matter, you may complete and send the
enclosed Notification Response Form to the Planning & Development Services
Department. You are encouraged to follow the requested action through final
approval because changes are often made during the review process.
Please note that this letter and its attachments constitute written notice about the
proposed Variance.
