BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Srishthi Das, William Zhang, and Annika Rao
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Allison Bedwell, Safiy Islam, Anya Reddy, and Kanha Jain
ALTERNATES PRESENT: Tyler Koo, Maya Perera, Shreyas Dharani, Praneel
Veerabathina, Sanvi Kishinchandani, Misha Rizvi, and Greer McDevitt

AGENDA:
Call to Order — The meeting was called to order at 3:04 P.M. by Vice -Chair Safiy Islam.
2. Consent
A. ADDrove the minutes from the Southlake Youth Action Commission meeting
held December 12, 2023- The motion to approve the minutes with no
corrections was made by Annika Rao and seconded by William Zhang.
Motion carried (5-0). Alternates that voted: Greer McDevitt, Misha Rizvi,
Maya Perera, Shreyas Dharani
3. Discussion
A. Adopt -A -Street Date Update -
Assistant to the Director of Community Services, Milenka Lopez mentioned
that the construction on Shady Oaks should be completed by mid -January.
The Commission decided on February 19th @ 4:15 PM for street clean up.
Direction to Staff- None.
B. 2024 YAC Summit Discussion -
Assistant to the Director of Community Services, Milenka Lopez informed that
everyone who expressed interest in going to the 2024 YAC Summit had been
registered and went over the dress code for the Summit.
Direction to Staff- None.

C. Guest Speaker: Public Safety Tour of DPS Headquarters
Fire and Police Departments representatives presented on their prospective
departments and were available for questions afterwards.
Members of the Commission take a tour of the Fire and Police Departments
as well.
Direction to Staff- None.
4. Adjournment-- Srishthi Das adjourned the meeting at 4.57 P.M.
