EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY: Smith Electric & Signs, on behalf of Valora Medical Group, is requesting approval
of a variance to Sign Ordinance No. 704, as amended, for an attached building
sign located at 1050 E. SH 114 Suite 100, Southlake, Texas 76092.
DETAILS: The property is situated at the northwest corner of the N. Carroll Avenue and E.
SH 114 intersection. North Country Family Practice has changed to Valora Medical
Group, and the applicant is requesting to update their sign accordingly. The
applicant is seeking variances for the following: an upper-story sign, sign area,
letter height, logo height, nonconforming sign color and the building sign not
located on lease/tenant space.

March 3, 2009 – City Council approved an amendment to the
previously approved sign variance for the tower monument sign
