Members Present: Chair MaryLee Alford, Vice Chair Greta Schumacher and SAC
members Emile Keller and Julie Walter
Commission Members Absent: SAC Members William Meddings and Bernadette

Staff Members Present Community Services Director David Miller and Senior Services
Coordinator Soheila Mashat-Phelps
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair MaryLee Alford called the meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission to order at
1:00 P.M.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
Chair Alford opened Public Forum at 1:00pm. There being no one,to address the
Commission, Public Forum was closed at 1:00pm.
3A. COMMUNITY SERVCES UPDATE
Hospitality and Sales Manager Crystal Maddalena presented the update and was
available to answer questions.

Senior Services Coordinator Soheila Mashat-Phelps updated the Commission on current
and future senior programming and events and was available to answer questions.

CONSENT AGENDA
Consent Agenda items are considered routine by the Commission and are
enacted with one motion.
4A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE September 12, 2023, REGULAR
SENIOR ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING.
Chair Alford presented the Consent Agenda, including approval of the minutes of
the September 12, 2023, meeting. Chair Alford asked if there were any revisions to
the minutes. No revisions were discussed.
