Mr. Clayton Reed provided the invocation. Mayor John Huffman led the pledges of
allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags.
3. NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH
Emergency Manager Amanda Meneses provided an update on city initiatives, proof of
performance, and community outreach regarding National Preparedness Month.
4. DISCUSS ALL ITEMS ON TONIGHT'S AGENDA. NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN
AND EACH ITEM WILL BE CONSIDERED DURING THE REGULAR SESSION.

Regular Session was called to order by Mayor Huffman at 5:49pm.
2A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Huffman announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to
the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.071
consultation with city attorney; Section 551.072 deliberation regarding real property; and
Section 551.087 deliberation regarding economic development negotiations. City Council
adjourned for Executive Session at 5:49pm. Executive Session began at 6:00pm and
concluded at 6:35pm.

and 9A from the Regular Agenda to the Consent Agenda, and noting the following:
- Item 4H - Approving Case ZA23-0047, Plat Revision for Lot 20R, T.M. Hood No.
706 Addition, and granting the requested variance to Subdivision Ordinance No.
483, Section 5.06, as amended, requiring a minimum 5’ sidewalk along the street
frontage of Shady Oaks Drive.
- Item 8A – TABLING INDEFINATELY - Resolution No. 23-020, a resolution of the
City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, casting a vote of No Confidence in
the Chief Appraiser of the Tarrant Appraisal District.
- Item 9A- S23-0014, Sign Variances for MPP Legal located at 1203 S. White
Chapel Blvd., Suite 250, Southlake, Texas, noting the following:

closure and stating having concerns about traffic.

Road is closed.
