Hi Reagan,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to reach out and see if Floor &. Decor plans
would be considered at the Planning 8. Zoning Commission September 7th meeting?
Also for your staff's consideration, I wanted to alert you to additional concerning
information beyond the traffic and safety concerns already raised at the SPIN
meeting by myself and others.
In reviewing Floor Ft Decor locations, I could only find one adjacent to a school like
they are proposing. The satellite images of the Glendale AZ location show liquid run
off going from the store to the school, as well as a semi truck parked directly next
to the fence line. Several other locations show substantially more debris than their
retail neighbors. I'm extremely concerned about construction debris being adjacent
to the fields kids are playing sports on throughout the day.

I am also concerned about the Floor & Decor executive team's commitment to
safety. Their Director of Construction & Design publically posts weekly memes on
LinkedIn mocking safety and inspections. Colleen Darwin, Director of Real Estate,
who attended the April 23rd SPIN meeting on behalf of Floor & Decor, also liked

Good morning Mn. Kinslow,
No, Floor and Decor will not be considered at the August 3rd P&Z Commission meeting.
Staff is requesting that the project be reviewed further prior to moving forward to public
meetings.
At this time, I cannot say for certain what meeting it will go to. It may be on the September
7d•meeting agenda. Proper notice will be sent to all properties within 300 feet of the subject
property. Also,public hearing notices are posted on our website, all at least 10 days prior to
the meeting in which it will be heard:
