PROJECT: Sign Variance for Acadia
EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY: Image 212, LLC, on behalf of Acadia Services, LLC, is requesting approval of
variances to Sign Ordinance No. 704, as amended, for an attached building sign for
Acadia Services located at 351 W. Southlake Blvd.
DETAILS: Acadia Services is occupying the entire 14,900 s.f. building and is proposing one
sign over the building’s main entrance. Due to the design of the building, the sign
will encroach onto the second story requiring a variance for sign placement. In
addition, the applicant is requesting a variance for sign type to accommodate the
company’s logo design. The applicant has provided two different sign type options,
both of which require a variance for inclusion of a sign backer. Option A has halo-
lit channel letters with a sign backer and Option B has front-lit channel letters with a
sign backer.
