Development Details:
• Currently Zoned CS
• Plan to keep CS zoning for Community Enrichment through classes related to arts and
crafts.
• Currently there is a 1,296 SF church facility on property, which is the proposed structure
for The Gathering Place
• Reusing the church for the art studio
• Adding a gazebo feature
• The Gathering Place Mission
o To provide a creative arts space for people to gather and share art. This is
accomplished by bringing people together to learn and provide fellowship, teach,
nurture, and support each other in art and in life.
• Retail Space - Wide variety of arts and craft supplies, eclectic and diverse including
mixed media, paper arts, glass arts, woodworking, quilting and stitching to name a few.
• Monthly Artisan Markets - Pop up outdoor open air artisan markets featuring local
makers. Also supporting other small businesses in the area to provide affordable space
to showcase and sell arts and crafts. One or two weekends a month as weather
permits.
