WORK SESSION: 1. CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 P.M. 2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate herein. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Planning and Zoning Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney. No executive Session was held. 3. Recap of the City Council’s action and discussion on Planning & Zoning recommended cases. 4. Adjournment. Director Killough reminded board about the upcoming Corridor Meeting on Monday May 22, 2023, at 5:30 P.M. 4. CHAIRMAN COMMENTS Chairman Kubiak will return for the June 8, 2023, meeting. Welcomed new Board and Commission member Stacy Driscoll. CONSENT AGENDA: 5. CONSIDER: APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FOR THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON APRIL 20, 2023. Table: ZA23-0016, Site Plan for SiteOne Landscape Supply located on a property described as Tracts 2AR and 2BR, Brumlow Industrial District, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas and located at 1635 Brumlow Ave., Southlake, Texas. Current Zoning: “I-1” Light Industrial District. SPIN Neighborhood #8. PUBLIC HEARING (This item was tabled to the May 18, 2023 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting; applicant is requesting to table to the June 8, 2023 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.) A motion was made to table item number ZA23-0016 at the applicant’s request until the June 8, 2023, meeting, at which time a public hearing will be held. PUBLIC HEARING Planning Manager Reagan Rothenberger provided a brief overview of item number 8 per Vice Chairman Forman’s request. No questions were asked. The applicant was present but had nothing additional to add. Vice Chairman opened the public hearing and seeing no one closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve item number 8 ZA23-0025 subject to our staff report dated May 12, 2023, and the revised site plan review summary number one dated May 12, 2023. PUBLIC HEARING Planning Manager Reagan Rothenberger provided a brief overview of item number 9 per Vice Chairman Forman’s request. No questions were asked. The applicant was present but had nothing additional to add. Vice Chairman opened the public hearing and seeing no one closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve item number 9 ZA23-0027 subject to our staff report dated May 12, 2023, and the site plan review summary number one dated May 12, 2023, and granting the request to use royal blue as fabric color.
