Please demonstrate that the following conditions are applicable to the requested sign variance:
That a literal enforcement of the sign regulation will create an unnecessary hardship or practical
difficulty on the applicant.
The tenant lease space is located on the second floor and according to the Southlake sign ordinance
no signs are allowed on the second floor
That the situation causing the unnecessary hardship or practical difficulty is unique to the affected
property and is not self imposed.
Yes as stated above the tenants lease space is on the second floor.
That the variance will not injure and will be wholly compatible with the use and permitted
development of adjacent properties.
The variance will not hinder adjacent propeties as the tenant is asking for the sign to be located on
their lease space.
4. That the variance will be in harmony with the spirit and purpose of the sign ordinance.
Yes, it keeps with the sign ordinance that all signs are located on the tenants lease space.
