1957-003RESOLUTION NO. 3
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of April, A. D. 1957g pursuant
to the provisions of Title 28 revised Civil Statutes of the
State of Texas and Resolution No. 2 heretofore adopted by the
Board of Aldermen of the Town of Southlake, Texas, on the 9th
day of February, A. D. 19579 after due notice as by law provided,
a General Election, to elect a Mayor, Five Councilmen and a Marshal
for tho Town of Southlake, Texas, was hold within the limits of
said City; and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of April, A. D. 1957, at a regular
meeting of the Town Council, the results of said election were
canvassed by the Mayor in the presence of the Town Council and the
said canvas showed that such result was as follows:

NOW TIMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF SOUTHLAKE9 TEXAS:
THAT, the canvas of the result of said election be and is
hereby approved and that A. Gail Eubanks having received the highest
number of votes for the office of Mayor and Ken Anderson having
received the highest number of votes for Office of Marshal are heroby
declared elected to said respective offices, and are to serve as
such officers for the term of two years from date hereof or until
their successors are duly elected and qualified.
THAT, James J. Carlile and
received the next highest number of

are duly elected and qualified.
