REGULAR SESSION:
1. Call to Order: Acting Chairman Verbick called the Regular Session to order at 6:29 P.M.
2A. Executive Session: No executive session was held.
3. Approval of the Minutes: Acting Chairman Verbick opened the discussion of the minutes of
the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on December 15, 2022.
A motion was made to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on
December 15, 2022.

Vote: 4-0-0
4. Administrative Comments: Reagan Rothenberger, Planning Manager, welcomed Jenny
Crosby, Deputy Director and announced that the next scheduled meeting is on February 16, 2023.
Mr. Rothenberger proposed a work session at 6:00 and it is open to the public.
5. Consider: ZBA22-0013, Variance to Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Sec. 14.5(e),
requiring the Maximum Lot Coverage of thirty (30) percent, and Special Exception Use per
Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Sec. 44.12(6), for reduction in the required setback for an
accessory building, for property described as Lot 32, Block 2, Dove Estates Addition, Southlake,
Tarrant County, Texas. Current Zoning: "SF-20B" Single Family Residential District. SPIN District
#2.

6. Consider: ZBA22-0021, Special Exception Use, per Ord. No. 480, as amended, Section
44.12(6) for a reduction in the required setback from property lines for a residential
accessory structure, for property described as Lot 29, Block 6, Carillon Phase 4A Addition,
Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas and located at 812 Lake Carillon Lane, Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas.
Planner Rothenberger presented details of the case with a slide show presentation to the Board.
The applicant, Mills Roberts, 812 Lake Carillon Lane, Southlake, Texas, is requesting the
approval of a Special Exception Use to permit a rear yard setback of approximately 5' when 10'
is required.
The applicants, Chris Pucci and Mills Roberts, once sworn in, presented testimony, and answered
questions from the Board.
Acting Chairman Verbick asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in
support of the request.
There being none, acting Chairman Verbick asked if there were those in the audience who wished
to speak in opposition to the request.
There being none, acting Chairman Verbick closed the public hearing and opened the item for
discussion from the Board.
A motion was made to approve case ZBA22-0021 as written
