In Attendance: Chair Marjorie Lewis (Grapevine), Council member Ronell Smith (Southlake), Council member
George Bond (Colleyville), Amy Redfearn (Colleyville), Devika Seth (Southlake), Sergio Harris (Grapevine),
Councilmember Jessica Juarez (Keller), Katie Gillham (Keller), Syeda Syed (Colleyville) and Council member Leon
Leal (Grapevine).
Absent: Kara Carreras (Southlake), and Angela Walby (Keller).
REGULAR SESSION:
1.Call to order at 5:51 by Marjorie Lewis.
REPORTS:
2.Administrative Comments (Staff):
Teen Court Supervisor gave a presentation regarding referral information.
3.Kristin McGrail gave a presentation regarding the City of Southlake Ethics policy.
CONSEN T AGENDA:
4.Approval of Minutes from March 6, 2023 Meeting.
Motion to approve made by Amy Redfearn and seconded by Ronell White. Unanimous approval by board.
REGULAR AGENDA:
5.Discussion: Changes in Advisory Board Bylaws
Board recommended additional revisions to be made before approving the updated Board Bylaws at the next
meeting.
6.Action: Appoint Advisory Board Vice-Chair for remainder of FY2023
Motion to nominate Devika Seth made by Syeda Syed and seconded by Leon Leal. Unanimous approval by
board.
7.Dates to Remember
The next board meeting is Monday, September 18, 2023.
8.Public Forum: There was no public present at this time.
