Item 9A - Request for Variance~i n KNOX BUILT CONSTRUCTION 1029 Shady Oaks Southlake, TX Permit NRES20-0047 Dear Southlake Planning Team, 3838 OAK LAWN AVENUE 214.509.5910 SUITE 1520 BLAKECKNOX-BUILT.COM DALLAS, TEXAS 75219 KNOX-BUILT.COM We are wrapping up construction on 1029 Shady Oaks, Permit NRES20-0047. During our final inspection, it was pointed out that new construction homes are supposed to have sidewalks built in front of them, however, we would be the only house on this side of the street to have a sidewalk (see photos attached). We would then have an unusable sidewalk cutting across our property, with no connections on the existing sides. Currently, there is a sidewalk on the opposite side of the street that we believe provides sufficient room for private and public use. We would like to apply for a Variance, to be exempt from this sidewalk requirement.
