Background
Information: As part of the annual Capital Improvement Program (CIP), City
Council authorizes annual funds for joint roadway rehabilitation
projects with Tarrant County. For FY 2023, City staff will partner
with Tarrant County to resurface Jellico Circle as one of the
projects for this year.
As part of this partnership, Tarrant County provide the labor and
heavy equipment, while Southlake will provide materials, pay for
half the fuel costs, schedule to mill the roadway, provide traffic
control, and perform striping as needed.
This project is scheduled to begin in June to minimize the impact on
commuters and traffic. Furthermore, Tarrant County and the City
have agreed to the working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily to
avoid peak travel times. Work is expected to be complete before
July, weather permitting.
Tarrant County has provided similar services on previous projects

Lane, N. Carroll Avenue, and last year’s project of Sam Bass Ridge
Rd.
