Subject: Item 4B Approve contract awards for Disaster Debris
Monitoring Services for Tetra Tech Inc., Primary Award,
and Debris Tech LLC, as Secondary Award.
Action
Requested: Approve new contracts for disaster debris monitoring in
accordance with the City of Southlake Disaster Debris Plan,
with Tetra Tech Inc., and secondary contract with Debris
Tech LLC.
Background
Information: The City released a request for proposal in December 2022
and received three (3) submissions. The contract provides
debris monitoring service for disaster debris removal as
directed by the City in order to eliminate and/or reduce
immediate threats to public health and safety in accordance
with the Stafford Act and Federal Emergency Management
Agency (“FEMA”) policies and guidelines.
Financial
Consideration: These contracts will be utilized on an “as needed” basis. In
the event these contracts are needed, staff will prepare a
funding plan and seek authorization from city council at that
time.
