Action Requested: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement of a wrought iron fence with brick columns within a drainage easement and utility easement located at 1480 Brown Lane. Background Information: The property owner of 1480 Brown Lane is requesting to construct a wrought iron fence with brick columns within a drainage easement and utility easement. There are no City utilities within the portion of the drainage easement and utility easement located on 1480 Brown Lane. The purpose of this item is to seek City Council approval of an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement of a wrought iron fence with brick columns within a drainage easement and utility easement located at 1480 Brown Lane. The proposed wrought iron fence and brick columns will be constructed along the property line within the dedicated drainage easement and utility easements. Per the drainage memo provided by Baird, Hampton & Brown, the proposed wrought iron fence with brick columns will not impact the adjacent channel and will not impact drainage to the adjacent properties. Staff is requesting City Council to consider the proposed drainage easement and utility easement encroachment for the proposed improvements at 1480 Brown Lane.
