one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or citizen so requests, in which event
the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence.

In Attendance: Councilmember Ronell Smith (Southlake), Kara Carreras (Southlake), Angela Walby (Keller),
Councilmember George Bond (Colleyville), Amy Redfearn (Colleyville), Devika Seth (Southlake), Sergio Harris
(Grapevine), Councilmember Jessica Juarez (Keller), and Councilmember Leon Leal (Grapevine).
Absent: Sayeda Sayed (Colleyville).
RE GULAR SESSION:
1. Call to order at 5:49 by Ronell White.
REPORTS:
2.Administrative Comments (Staff):
Teen Court staff gave a presentation regarding referral information.
CONSENT AGENDA:
3.Approval of Minutes from January 9, 2023 Meeting.
Motion to approve made by Kara Carreras and seconded by George Bond. Unanimous approval by board
(Leal not present).
REGULAR AGENDA:
4.Action: Approve Changing Upcomming Meeting from September 11, 2023 to September 18, 2023.
Motion to approve schedule change made by Amy Redfearn and seconded by Jessica Juarez. Unanimous
approval by board (Leal not present).
5.Interviews: Scholarship Candidates
Madison O'Neal, Riya Srinivasan, and Aarya Tyagi were intervewed for the scholarship monies.
6.Discussio n: Scholarhsip Candidates and Interview Results
The board discussed the candidate interviews.
7.Action: Approve Scholarship Recipients
Motion was made by Ronell White and seconded by Kara Carreras to approve scholarhsips in the amount of
$1500 for Madison O'Neal, $1000 for Aarya Tyagi, and $500 for Riya Srinivasan. Unanimous approval by
board (Leal not present).
8.Dates to Remember
The Volunteer/Scholarship Dinner will be held on April 3, 2023 and scholarships awarded that evening.
9.Public Forum: There was no public present at this time.
10.Meeting adjourned at 7:19pm
