Commission Secretary Hannah McKenzie
WORK SESSION:
1. CALL TO ORDER: 7:14PM
2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate
herein. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the
Regular Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Planning
and Zoning Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071:
Consultation with attorney.

Chairman Kubiak called the Sign Board Meeting to order at 6:43 P.M.

4. CONSIDER: APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 03, 2022,
SIGN BOARD MEETING.
A motion was made to approve item 4, the minutes from the November 03, 2022, Sign
Board meeting.

5. Consider: MSP22-0004 Master Sign Plan for Crisp & Green located at 2438 E.
Southlake Blvd., Southlake, Texas.
A motion was made to approve item number 5 MSP22-0004 subject to the Staff Report
dated November 11, 2022; and specifically noting approval of Sign 1; noting on Sign 2
that they will have to come back for specific approval of a mural since there is not a
mural for a recommendation to approve; specifically denying the recommendation for
approval for Signs 3A and 3B; recommending approval on Sign 4, recommending
approval on Sign 5; recommending approval on Sign 6, and recommending denial for
the window signs for the 25 percent and they need to stay at 10 percent.

6. Consider: SV22-0014 Sign Variance for The Capital Grille located at 1201 E. SH
114, Southlake, Texas.
A motion was made to approve item number 6 SV22-0014 subject to the Staff Report
dated November 11, 2022; noting the recommendation for approval for all signs; and
noting for Sign D that the applicant make a choice from both options; and noting
Commission Rothmeier's preference for the word "Grille" be spaced closer together.
