PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Frances Scharli, Board Members Magdalena Battles, Chad Bedwell, Kevin Craddock, and Stacy Driscoll PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Vice Chair Paul Venesky STAFF PRESENT: Director of Community Services Chris Tribble, Deputy Director David Miller, Recreation Manager Ryan McGrail, Parks Manager Michael Reasoner, and Assistant to the Director Milenka Lopez CITY COUNCIL MEMBER PRESENT: Council Member Kathy Talley REGULAR AGENDA 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Frances Scharli called the regular Parks and Recreation Board meeting to order at 6:12 p.m. 2. CONSENT AGENDA 2A. APPROVE MINUTES FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 14, 2022 The minutes of the February 14, 2022 Parks and Recreation Board meeting were approved with no changes or corrections. 2B. ABSENCE OF PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEMBERS Park Board Vice Chair Paul Venesky absence from the February 14, 2022 meeting were excused. Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are enacted with one motion by the Board. Motion: Craddock Second: Bedwell Ayes: Battles, Bedwell, Craddock, Driscoll, Scharli Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 5-0 Motion carried. 3. PUBLIC FORUM Chair Scharli opened Public Forum at 6:14 p.m. There being no one to address the Board, Chair Scharli closed Public Forum at 6:14 p.m. WORK SESSION AGENDA 4. PICKLEBALL COMPLEX Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented an overview of the process for the Bicentennial Park Pickleball Complex concept plan, anticipated timeline, and current project cost estimate. Southlake residents were present to ask questions and provide comments and feedback. Director Tribble, Chair Scharli, and Council Member Talley were available to answer questions. 5.
