1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate
herein. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the
Regular Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Planning
and Zoning Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071:
Consultation with attorney.
No executive Session was held.
3. Recap of City Council’s action and discussion on Planning and Zoning recommended
cases; questions were asked.
4. Discuss the upcoming update of the City of Southlake’s Future Land Use Plan.
5. Staff presented an overview and addressed questions on agenda items #8 through #11;
6. Adjournment.

6. ORDINANCE NO. 1264, CP22-0002, A LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT, an
element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, changing the land use designation
from “low density residential” to “medium density residential” on Lot 1, Block
1, Raven Bend Addition, City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas and located
at 1100 Raven Bend Ct., Southlake, Texas. SPIN Neighborhood #6.
Deputy Director Dennis Killough gave a formal presentation of item 6 on the regular
agenda; no questions were asked.
Applicant - JD Kearny, 1100 Raven Bend Ct., Southlake, TX, came forward to present
and answer questions.

Ave., Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. Current Zoning “SF-1A” Single Family
Residential District. Proposed Zoning: “SF-1A” and “SF-30” Single Family
Residential District. SPIN Neighborhood #5.
Deputy Director Dennis Killough gave a formal presentation of item 7 on the regular
agenda and answer questions.

questions.

September 2, 2022 and noting that any future development or platting would be required
to conform with this concept plan. Also subject to the plan review summary #2 dated
September 2, 2022.
