The park is located along the north side of Southlake Boulevard (FM 1709) between Shady Oaks Drive and White Chapel Boulevard in the City of Southlake, Texas. The property is approximately ±80 acres of existing park that contains lighted baseball fields for various age levels, two (2) ponds, the Marq, the Bicentennial Park Playground, the Southlake Tennis Center, a Miracle Field, multiple batting cages, three (3) basketball courts, a synthetic turf field, a maintenance building and yard, multiple concession/restroom buildings, a log cabin, Liberty Gardens, roadway, and parking. The property is currently zoned “CS” (Community Services). The current plat was issued in January of 2020. The Site Plan Application includes the following proposed improvements to Bicentennial Park:  A pickleball complex located between Unity Way and Freedom Lane. Improvements include the following: eight (8) lighted pickleball courts with two (2) shade structures, one (1) lighted championship pickleball court with bleacher seating and shade structure, one (1) restroom/office building with covered patio areas, 8 ft. ornamental fence to match existing park fence, 10 ft. black vinyl-coated chain link fence with windscreen that will enclose the pickleball complex, entry monument sign, site amenities, storm drainage system, utilities, landscaping, and irrigation. Currently, we do not expect to request any variances with the Site Plan Application.
